A Little Bit About Me
My name is Tasha Hale. I currently live in the South and have spent most of my life here. I am blessed to be the mother of two very sweet but very rambunctious children--a three year-old daughter, Ellie, and an 19 month-old son, Nathan. I consider myself a creator because I love to invent things. I write, sew, build, and somehow my husband still enjoys my cooking, despite my creativity leaking over into culinary efforts as well. I love to waterski, and I'm an avid sports and Broadway musical fan.
My purposes for starting a blog were three-fold:
First, I often find myself posting humorous experiences with my children and family anecdotes
online. I love sharing the joys and craziness of being a stay-at-home-mom with those who can relate to the wonderful insanity of parenthood. The website also became a journal of sorts--a way for me to record special experiences somewhere permanent and easily accessible. Check out my Remember page to get fun family updates.
Second, I was eager to post pictures and tutorials of craft and home projects that I really enjoyed making. Most of my projects fall under the category of homemade toys, but I'm excited to try new things as my skills grow. Check out my Create page for home craft ideas and how-to's (disclaimer: this section is a work in progress).
And finally, with all the negativity and criticism in the world, I wanted to remind people that there is so much joy to be found in our day-to-day trek through life. I hoped to perhaps re-inspire a small bit of faith in humanity's capacity for goodness. Check out my Inspire page for some personal life lessons that motherhood has taught me.
